Homemade cooked porridge

Eating healthy for breakfast …. Well not really my thing usually, I can’t live without bread, butter and peanut butter .. But Coachella is coming very soon, and it’s time to be more careful. As many of you know, I’ve been reading a lot about how to adopt a more vegetal alimentation. And i’ve tried to stick to it for the last couple of months. But breakfast is like, the only part I like to eat badly, because well, it’s breakfast 😛

Anyway, I wanted to share this receipt with you. I’ve been eating porridge every single morning since a week now and I love it. It’s really substantial and full of energy.

WHAT YOU NEED :

  • 400 G OF OATS
  • A FULL PLATE OF DATES
  • 2 BANANAS
  • CHIA SEEDS
  • COCONUT MILK
  • MAPLE SYRUP

Start with mixing oats with a bit of coconut milk until it gets sticky. Then add the dates with bananas and chia seeds. Knead everything with your hands, add maple syrup and put the whole thing in a dish. Feel free to add some honey on top.  Let it rest in the oven (180°) for 20 to 30 mins. Get the porridge out, and then … Eaaaaaaat.

SIMPLE – QUICK – EASY- HEALTHY
